This is a beautifully fashioned early Victorian parlor side chair, with its original hand drawn cane seat in in a black lacquered finish inlaid with hand cut Mother of Pearl, and accented with real gold leaf through the back, legs, stretches and corners. Later 19th C Ladies Marquetry Rosewood & Mahogany Writing Desk

This impeccable late 19th century ladies writing desk was lovingly and completely restored to its current exquisite state. The desk features marquetry panels of flower garlands on each flat surface of the desk with single banding in a light colored yew wood. The desk is highlighted by ormolu on the feet and knees of the gracefully arched cabriole legs, the artfully turned supporting columns for the shelf and the three quarter gallery bordering the top. $6750
