-Superb Tabernacle in Pierced Brass Boulle, Set with Amboyna Burl, by Erhard and Sohne, Circa 1928 Germany. Done in Jugendstil or German Arts & Crafts Style. In the Catholic and Traditional Churches, a Tabernacle is a Box used to hold the Consecrated Host. A portable version, used by a traveling Priest, is called a Pyx, or Pix.
-Condition is good but there is a small dent and missing brass on the back. See photos.
